Easter is one of the most important celebrations for Christians everywhere. The culmination of the observance of Lent, Easter doesn’t fall on a set date every year. In the week preceding this big day, people of the faith usually observe hallowed traditions in different ways around the globe. Holy Week began with Palm Sunday (last Sunday) and ended yesterday on Holy Saturday. Holy Week includes Holy Thursday (also known as Maundy Thursday) and Good Friday, which, together with Holy Saturday, is called the Triduum.
