Emerging faces among the next generation of Brazilian models.
With the South American country home to some of the world’s most established runway talents, we take a look at Brazil’s hottest emerging faces. Here’s our pick of the next generation of Brazilian models, and the Instagram accounts to follow them on.
Raised in Santa Catarina in Brazil, the German-Brazilian model regularly treads the catwalk for the world’s biggest brands and has bagged campaigns for A.P.C., Just Cavalli and Saint Laurent. Weber also appeared in Tom Ford’s movie A Single Man as the ethereal beauty Lois.
Having recently walked in shows for Valentino, Christian Dior and Chanel, as well as opening the Fall-Winter 2014 show for Marc Jacobs, Gorczevski is an emerging fashion phenomenon, spotted on the street in her home city of Florianópolis. The model’s looks (and name) reflect her Polish and Portuguese heritage.
One of Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci’s closest friends and muses, Léa has become a fixture in the brand’s shows and campaigns over the past five years. Her success is all the more exciting due to her trailblazing work for her fellow transgender models.
The former face of Brazilian luxury brands Osklen and Alexandre Herchcovitch, Thairine Garcia has had a hugely successful time on the runway lately, walking in the Fall-Winter 2014 shows for Nina Ricci, Elie Saab and Anthony Vaccarello.
Another up-and-coming star, Vivan has shot for Elle Argentina as well as Brazilian fashion label Zinco. Check out her Instagram for a mix of cool behind-the-scenes photography and memes. – AFP Relaxnews
