The legendary music make is working on volume two of his memoirs.
Following the success of the international best-seller Waging Heavy Peace: A Hippie Dream (Blue Rider Press), published in 2012, Neil Young has returned to autobiographical writing for the second instalment of his memoirs. The Canadian singer-songwriter will look back on his musical career and on his passion for cars through the years. The forthcoming book is due out from Blue Rider Press this fall.
The 67-year-old artist first encountered success as one of the founding members of Buffalo Springfield alongside Stephen Stills, before launching his solo career in the late 1960s.
After releasing his self-titled debut album in 1968, Young went on tour with Crazy Horse, the band with which he went on to tour and to record several albums. He has also been an occasional fourth member of Crosby, Stills & Nash, adding his name to the band’s title on four albums and for a famous concert at Woodstock.
Young has released more than 30 albums during his varied career spanning over four decades. His latest album, Psychedelic Pill, was released in October 2012. — AFP Relaxnews
