Singaporean swimmer Nick Tan.
DOLCE & Gabbana has named Singaporean swimmer Nick Tan as one of the faces for its Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
The dashing lad is said to be the first South-East Asian male to nab an international campaign from the Italian luxury fashion house.
Tan was handpicked by designer Domenico Dolce himself. Shot by reputed fashion photographer Alvaro Beumand Cortes, the 24-year-old is among seven male models selected – some of which include famous faces like Oliver Cheshire of Britain and Dae Na of South Korea.
Tan is a South-East Asian (SEA) Games gold medallist who has competed at the Asian Games (2010) and SEA Games (2007 and 2011).
He formerly held multiple national records for the butterfly stroke in swimming, as well. – Bervin Cheong
