DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and all other living organisms, and life as we know it is increasingly being looked at in molecular terms.

WHAT have a wholphin, a zorse, a beefalo and a mule got in common? They are all hybrids, of course. Not only do they look like a cross between two familiar animals, but more importantly, DNA analysis confirms that the hybrid’s DNA is a mixture of both parents’ DNA.
