THE Brussels Chocolate Fair – Salon du Chocolat Brussels – has just ended. Held from Feb 7 to 9, the yearly trade fair for the international chocolate industry took place for the first time in the Belgian capital after 20 editions since 1994.
All sorts of displays were put on at the expo, including a fashion show with clothes made out completely of chocolate.
Various kinds of chocolates in unusual designs were also exhibited. Ethiopian Artist “Fofi”, for example, created an art sculpture that had heads peeking out of chocolate shavings. Fofi’s creations bring together her passion for sculpture, culinary arts and in particular chocolate.
