Usha’s food stall serves banana leaf rice that rates 7 out of 10 on the 'Samo scale'. Must-try items: goat tripe curry, dry mutton curry and salted fish curry.
Apart from its wet market, Jalan Othman in Petaling Jaya is especially known for its food court. If you're out looking for a quick lunch fix, there are a couple of decent makan stalls there you can try.
Highly-recommended is Usha’s food stall. It specialises in banana leaf rice and is usually packed during the weekends.
Usha’s home-cooked dishes are way above expectations. Dishes that really stand out are: goat tripe curry, dry mutton curry and salted fish curry. One can also order fried fish and fried chicken a la carte.
Price-wise, Usha's veers on the expensive side of hawker dining with lunch for two costing upwards of RM25. And as far as the quality of food is concerned, it rates t 7 out of 10 on the Samo-scale.
