Places to wine and dine

Daily Grind’s take on serving its customers a hearty meal is evident in its gourmet burgers, but there’s more here than just yummy burgers. To showcase its versatile selection, the restaurant at Bangsar Village I has specially crafted for the UOB Chef’s Creation Menu an interesting line-up of dishes. For RM88++ per couple, diners get to savour Garlic Chicken Salad before venturing into the mains — Classic Beef Cheese Burger (homemade ketchup, mustard mix and homemade pickles between buttered toasted buns), Seafood Spaghetti (fresh seafood spaghetti cooked white wine and garlic broth) or Sunday Roast (oven-roasted chicken with coleslaw, ranch beans and chips). Finish off this experience with a slice of Mini Red Velvet Cake. Alternatively, the UOB Chef’s Creation Menu, priced at RM168++ per couple, kicks off with TDG’s Crabby Caesar Salad, Mushroom Soup before main course is served. For mains, there’s My Big Fat Greek Burger (lamb patty with grilled eggplant, cucumber, yogurt, served with feta salad), O’Mega! Salmon (healthy pan-seared salmon steak with a light and tasty sundried tomato sauce and sauteed vegetables) or Smothered Steak (chargrilled steak smothered with creamy mushroom sauce and sautéed potatoes). Dessert seals the meal with a slice of Hummingbird Cake. For reservations, call 03-2287 6708. The UOB Chef’s Creation promotion sets are available for lunch and dinner, priced at RM88++ and RM168++ per couple, respectively. The promotion is valid from now to Dec 30.
