Desert art: Making a forest of cars

Surreal art: More than 40 cars are buried in the art installation called the International Car Forest of the Last Church, basically in the middle of a desert in Nevada.

‘Nothing a bus stickin’ out of the ground can’t fix’, according to an unlikely yet beautiful desert art installation.

With a smirk and a hitch of his holster, the Nye County Sheriff’s deputy hands me the ticket – US$245 (RM820), ouch! – for going over 60kp/h in a 40kp/h zone in lovely downtown Tonopah in Nevada. Before heading back to his SUV and resuming his duty to serve and protect residents, as well as fill county coffers via issuing speeding tickets, this dedicated law enforcement officer lifts his aviator sunglasses and asks me a question.
