The calendar that ignores office days to help you make the most of 2014.

TIME flies when you’re having fun – one minute it’s Jan 1 and you’re full of good resolutions and the next thing you know, you’re writing your Christmas shopping list again. Luckily, planning ahead has been made easier by design duo Half Three, with the launch of the Free Days Planner, which handily ignores time spent at the office and strips the year down to weekends and public holidays.

“Who really gives a hoot about the time you spend at work?” asks the company’s website. And who are we to argue?

Featuring a wall chart format, the planner templates are available as free downloads for users to print off themselves. Separate versions are available for Britain, Australia, Canada and the USA, and each comes in a variety of colours.

Half Three founders Lauren and Andy Clark designed the planner after realising they weren’t maximizing their free time.

“As day-to-day pressures took over we realised we weren’t making the most of the time that was just for us,” they told Relaxnews via e-mail.

“To help, we designed a planner that allowed us to see all the time that is ours to play with and plan for in a single view. Now there are no excuses!”

The printable non-work planner is the latest in a series of inventive calendars, including design-led perpetual calendars which work year-on-year, the latest being offered by Tom Dixon .
