At 19, I wonder sometimes what would I pursue in life? The grass is always greener on the other side, and I will always be on the lookout for better pastures.
But it is in this realm that I feel inferior to my own ambition. For risk takers, there is a feeling of an innate inadequacy in pursuing their life-long dream. As I was browsing through the racks of books in a library, I found these words by Amelia Earhart: “The more one does, and sees and feels, the more one is able to do, the more genuine may be one’s appreciation of the fundamental things in life like home, love and understanding companionship.”
