Drama time: Galaxie shines the spotlight on must-see TV shows like Pretty Little Liars.
So many TV shows on air, so little time. Galaxie tells you which is worth your while.
Couch potatoes are spoiled for choice these days with so many shows on TV. And we’re not talking about reality TV. No, we are in awe of the awesome characters and amazing stories that have been brought to the small screen in recent times.
Pretty Little Liars is one of the many choice dramas that has viewers hooked with its incredible mix of mystery, romance, eye candy and fashionable attire.
With so many young women on the set vying for screen time, one can’t help but think it could have all ended in tears or disaster.
But stars Lucy Hale and Troian Bellisario revealed that the four main female stars got along right off the bat and are good friends now.
“We’re like sisters,” Bellisario divulged. “Some days I absolutely hate them and I want to kill them and I’m fine letting them know that. But it’s always done with a sense of, like, Stop being such an idiot; please, can we move past this. And they’ve really, really saved me in some rough patches, so I’m so grateful for them.”
Other than Pretty Little Liars, the Galaxie team shines the spotlight on nine other teen shows (like The Vampire Diaries, Awkward and Teen Wolf) as well as over 20 gems that are personal favourites (Sherlock, The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, The Bridge, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Game Of Thrones to name a few) and absolute must-sees.
Also in the Sept 16-30 issue, Galaxie chats with talented country singer-songwriter Hunter Hayes exclusively about touring with the likes of Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood.
“It’s not only about playing the show, it’s about communicating, it’s about connecting; if there’s no connection, then you can play all the right notes you want, it’ll mean nothing,” the 22-year-old artiste revealed.
“That’s something I learnt only from opening for superstars – it’s having the pressure in that one chance to introduce yourself. You gotta do it right.”
Plus, actor Liam Hemsworth, who is making press rounds for his new film, Paranoia, talks to Galaxie about love at first sight, his relationship with Miley Cyrus and marriage in a new interview.
“A lot of the time love at first sight can be very superficial,” Hemsworth explained. “You fall in love with someone because he or she is beautiful.
“But, only a small percentage of the time does it blossom into something that is real. I fall in love every day though.”
For those looking to adorn their walls with new posters, the latest issue, which is out on newsstands now, offers Austin Mahone, Before You Exit, Fifth Harmony, Ryan Lochte, Lab Rats, Ke$ha plus a centrefold of Katy Perry.
Readers also stand a chance to win cool merchandise like Runner Runner sunglasses, Ellie Goulding Halcyon Days albums and Arrow t-shirts and dart games.
As usual, Galaxie has all the latest in music, movies, TV and celebrity goings-on.
