Austria-born jazz-pop singer-songwriter Patrizio Buanne is set to perform alongside Malaysia’s own Jaclyn Victor and Dennis Lau in an exclusive event in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, next month.
Organised by MG Live Entertainment and Golden Force Entertainment, the black tie event – called Like No Other With The Macallan – will be held at Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort And Spa on Aug 15.
Buanne was born in 1978 in Vienna to Italian parents. He started his singing career at age 19 with the release of Angelo di Dio. Since then, he's recorded several albums including The Italian, Forever Begins Tonight, Partizio, and his latest in 2012, Wunderbar. Buanne last performed in Malaysia in 2011.
Vocal powerhouse Jaclyn recently went to LA to promote her latest English single, Remedy. The uptempo track written by KRU’s Edry and Yusry Abdul Halim is part of a five-track EP titled Unleashed, due out in September.
Electric violinist Lau made a name for himself in the local entertainment scene with his pop-classical style. He's currently preparing for a concert called The Journey, to be stage before the end of 2014.
> Tickets for Like No Other With The Macallan are at RM588, RM788 and RM988. Each includes a bottle of Macallan (12 years, 15 years or 17 years, T&C apply). Call 017-9081221 or 016-2495881 for details.
