The singer is set to headline the Padang Stage concert at the 2014 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.
Returning to Singapore after 13 years is one of Britain’s biggest stars, Robbie Williams! The singer will join the spectacular line-up of international headliners who will be performing over the 2014 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix race weekend (Sept 19-21) at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Williams is set to perform after the Formula 1 qualifying session on Sept 20.
With six albums in the “UK’s Top 100” biggest-selling albums of all time list – Williams has sold more than 70 million copies – the multi platinum award-winning pop singer’s achievements remains unrivalled.
Williams has won 17 Brit Awards including the Outstanding Contribution to British Music award – more than any other artiste to date.
As the youngest member of the massively popular English pop group Take That in 1990, Williams has enjoyed a successful musical career despite leaving the band in 1995. His solo albums, which include Sing When You’re Winning and Escapology, has propelled the singer to be one of Britain’s top-selling artistes.
Also scheduled to perform at the September event in Singapore are Mayday, John Legend, Pet Shop Boys and Ziggy Marley. More artistes will be unveiled soon.
Tickets for the main event are available for sale at www.singaporegp.sg, via the ticketing hotline +65 6738 6738 as well as authorised agents.
