A SEQUEL to the blockbuster hit 300, 300: Rise Of An Empire is an an American fantasy action film directed by Noam Murro. The cast includes Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Callan Mulvey, Hans Matheson, and Jack O’Connell. Reprising their roles from the first film are Lena Headey, Rodrigo Santoro, Andrew Tiernan and David Wenham.
The movie is based on Frank Miller’s latest graphic novel Xerxes, told in the breath taking visual style of the blockbuster 300.
The new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to the sea, as Greek general Themistokles (Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war.

The movie centres on 13-year-old Henry Wheeler, who struggles to be the man of his house and care for his reclusive mother, Adele while confronting all the pangs of adolescence. On a back-to-school shopping trip, Henry and his mother encounter Frank Chambers, a man both intimidating and clearly in need of help, who convinces them to take him into their home and later is revealed to be an escaped convict. The events of this long Labor Day weekend will shape them for the rest of their lives.
