Kudsia Kahar hosts the 'Rediscovery' show every Saturday on Capital FM.
The radio station will be playing Oscar-themed music this weekend.
In conjunction with the 86th Annual Academy Awards happening on Monday (Sunday night in Los Angeles), Capital FM will be serenading listeners with songs that have either been nominated or even won the Oscars in this week’s Rediscovery.
Every Saturday, Capital FM’s Rediscovery – hosted by Kudsia Kahar – brings listeners back to the 1980s and 1990s with chart-topping songs and popular tunes. Tomorrow’s two-hour show will see Kudsia playing songs that recreate the best “music-in-film” moments.
Some of the songs that are in the playlist include the Oscar-winning Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire and Theme From Shaft by Isaac Hayes, which took home the Best Original Song Oscar in 1972. Others in the list include Happy from Despicable Me 2 and Ordinary Love from Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.
Apart from that, Capital FM will also be giving fans updates on the Oscars via its digital platform. Listeners could watch their favourite stars on the red carpet by logging on to www.capitalfm.com.my.
