Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Thor in 'The Avengers: Age Of Ultron' next year.
Also ready to join the 2015 film is actor Charlie Day.
Chris Hemsworth and Charlie Day are in negotiations to join the cast of New Line’s Vacation reboot starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate.
Horrible Bosses scribes John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein were set to make their feature directorial debut from a script they penned. Production was delayed last year in order to do more work on the script but insiders say a new draft is in and the project is moving full steam ahead.
The new version of the Griswolds’ Vacation adventures will follow grown-up son (Helms), who has his own family misadventures on the road. David Dobkin is producing through his David Dobkin Prods. Hemsworth will play Audrey’s boyfriend.
After taking a break in 2014, the Aussie actor is set to have a big year in 2015 with the Michael Mann crime thriller Black Hat bowing in January, Ron Howard’s Heart Of The Sea opening in March and Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which opens in May.
Hemsworth will shoot Vacation first and follow that up by jumping into Universal’s The Huntsman, a spin-off of Snow White And The Huntsman, in the first quarter of 2015.
He is repped by CAA, ROAR and Morissey Management. Day is repped by WME and 3 Arts. — Reuters
