The Internet wants to know who makes a sadder – but better – meme.
When director Zack Snyder posted a picture earlier this week of Ben Affleck in his Batman costume standing next to the brand new Batmobile on Twitter, fans went wild.
FYI, Affleck stars in the Batman Vs Superman movie (set to open in 2016), a sequel to last year’s Man Of Steel, while Snyder again acts as the director. Also in the movie are Hery Cavill reprising his role as Superman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
While most folks went all googly-eyed at the Batmobile, a few actually wondered why the picture shows Batman looking so ... sad.
There’s also a handful of people who says that he looks “pissed off” instead, but since Batman didn’t make a fist and has his head tilted down the posture looks more "sad" than "angry".
Yes, that's right. We scrutinised the image.
Already there are a number of Sad Batman memes and gifs on the Internet but we’re sure more will pop up in the next few days. Will Sad Batman surpass the popularity of Sad Keanu (#win)?
Whatever it is, we know for sure it will be more famous – and better! – than Sad Kanye. What do you think?
