A scene from 'Lone Survivor'.
I, Frankenstein – Adam Frankenstein (Aaron Eckhart), a superhuman created using various body parts and powered with electricity, is caught in an all-out war between two immortal clans in an ancient city. The Australian-American fantasy action flick is based on the graphic novel and original screenplay by Kevin Grevioux.
The Four II – This sequel to Gordon Chan and Janet Chun’s The Four sees the return of the original cast (Deng Chao, Crystal Liu, Collin Chou and Ronald Cheng) to investigate a murder in the suburbs. As facts about their past are revealed, they must choose between their grudges or their new lives at the Divine Constabulary.
Lone Survivor – Based on the New York Times bestseller, this war film depicts Operation Red Wings, a US Navy SEAL covert mission to capture or kill Taliban leader Ahmad Shah during the war in Afghanistan. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch and Eric Bana.
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit – When young CIA analyst Jack Ryan (Chris Pine) inadvertently uncovers evidence of an impending terrorist attack targeting the financial sector, he is sent to Moscow to investigate. The action thriller also stars Keira Knightley, Kevin Costner and Kenneth Branagh.
Her – On the verge of a divorce with his childhood sweetheart, Theodore Twombly (Joaquin Phoenix) begins developing an unlikely relationship with an intelligent computer operating system (voiced by Scarlett Johansson). This movie begs the question: can actual human interactions really be replaced by technology?
