Rock star Miyavi to make film debut in Jolie’s ‘Unbroken’.

According to Deadline.com, the protagonist of the film, portrayed by Jack O’Connell, will suffer at the hands of a character played by the J-rock star.
The story will narrate Zamperini’s atypical life journey, from brushes with the law in New York to competing in the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936, before fighting in the Pacific during World War II. He was held as a prisoner of war from 1942 to 1945.
The 32-year-old Miyavi, who is a mega-celebrity in his native country, will play a Japanese army officer tasked with breaking Zamperini’s spirits.
