Harper Lee surprises with ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ sequel


Harper Lee surprises the publishing world by announcing the release of her second novel – 55 years after her Pulitzer Prize-winning debut To Kill a Mockingbird.

Entitled Go Set A Watchman, the new novel – slated for publication on July 14 by the author's publisher Harper – comes with a few surprises. The biggest surprise was for author Lee, 88, who thought it had been lost until it was unearthed by her new lawyer, Tonja Carter.
