There are many good Samaritans out there who, in their own way, are lending shoulders, ears and hearts to the masses; this month, Flavours celebrates the good guys who have committed to using food for the greater good. These range from soup kitchens and feeding programmes that provide sustenance for the less fortunate to the good-hearted crew at DIB Coffee Hawaii, a gourmet coffee chain that hires and trains a mostly deaf crew to help them find sustainable employment.
