Trust him, he's the Doctor: How Stephen Strange has stayed the Sorcerer Supreme

By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth! Doctor Strange is getting his own movie! Here’s why the Sorcerer Supreme deserves the limelight.

A decade ago, I made a bet with my friend Jega that he was the only Doctor Strange fan in Malaysia – and probably Southeast Asia as well – but I was proven wrong when two handfuls of “Strange-rs” expressed interest in the Dr Strange comics he posted on our now-defunct Trading Post (remember that?). Since two hands’ worth of Strange fans would only occupy a single row of cinema seats, Marvel must have relied on the Ancient One’s wisdom in granting Stephen Strange his very own feature film, scheduled for 2016.
