DIVERSITY seems to be the word in this year’s Man Booker Prize shortlist, which was announced late yesterday. With the six nominated authors coming from six different nationalities/ethnicities, not to mention having covered a whole range of subjects, the only thing all of the titles have in common seems to be the ability to be different.
