Nailing spring shades

IMAGINE Paris in springtime. That’s what Estee Lauder creative make-up director Tom Pacheux did, which explains the profusion of pastels in the brand’s new Heavy Petals Collection.

Available in five pretty shades, the limited edition nail lacquer is inspired by the playful mood and kaleidoscope of colours that emerge from the city of amour as it blossoms to life this season. Think “amazing bouquets from the flower markets, the pretty pastels of children’s carousels and the pops of colours from macaroons”.

Sexy simplicists, meanwhile, will absolutely adore the French Nudes Collection. With elegant and neutral shades ranging from fair to dark and warm to cool, these flattering shades will flatter flesh and elongate fingers. Pecheux calls it a “foundation for nails” because with these colours, it’s “all about enhancing nails, rather than making a big statement with colour”.

Available at selected Estee Lauder counters at RM70 each.
