When Jason Yam told people in the property development business that he would be taking over an abandoned project in USJ, Selangor, they were shocked and some even discouraged him.
Naysayers warned Yam to avoid the project at all cost as two developers had embarked on the same project previously without any success, after the development came to a screeching halt some 15 years ago.
