IT’S NOT unusual for celebrities to increase their income by getting endorsements, going into business or trying and do something that makes good use of their names. For veteran singer Datuk Khadijah Ibrahim, fondly known as Khaty, the food business seemed to be the ideal choice.
“There are three things that I love most — cooking, singing and interior design. So setting up a restaurant was just another option,” said Khadijah who has been singing for the last 30 years.
She says somehow she knew she would end up in the food business someday.
