CIMB Research retains Underweight on banks

It said on Wednesday other de-rating catalysts include margin contraction, and higher credit costs. RHB Capital remains its top pick.    

CIMB Research said based on Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) latest statistics released on Tuesday, the industry’s loan growth inched up from 8.6% on-year in January 2015 to 8.8% on-year in February 2015.
