Minimal impact on glove makers from higher gas prices: RHB Research

KUALA LUMPUR: Gas Malaysia Bhd’s hike in natural gas prices by 20% on average from May 1, 2014 will have a minimal impact of glove makers as it comprises of 5% to 6% of total production costs, says RHB Research.

In its research note issued Monday, the research house said the costs could easily be passed on to customers and had an Overweight call on the glove makers sector.
