PETALING JAYA: The ringgit climbed to a five-week high as the steadier price of crude oil stirred up investor appetite for local assets.
The prospect of a further strengthening of the ringgit and crude oil is supportive of the stock market’s near-term outlook, according to a note by Hong Leong Investment Bank Research.
