Taiwan’s CTBC opens representative office in KL

KUALA LUMPUR: CTBC Bank has opened a respresentative office in the city, being the first Taiwanese bank approved by Bank Negara to enter the country after 17 years.

The bank, which was established in Taiwan in 1966 is the biggest credit card issuer there and is an international privately-owned bank.
