SHANGHAI: China and Hong Kong stocks dropped on Monday morning, tracking regional markets, as Friday's deadly attacks in Paris dampened risk appetite among global investors.
China's blue-chip CSI300 index opened 1.7% lower, but pared some losses to end the morning down 0.7%, at 3,720.73 points. The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.5 percent, to 3,562.54 points.
