PETALING JAYA: The consumer sentiment index (CSI) has fallen to a new low of 70.2 in the third quarter as current income deteriorates, according to the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (Mier).
Consumer confidence slipped further than the 71.7 points recorded in the second quarter.
