Cyberview and MRCB Land to develop city centre, initial GDV RM5.35b


CYBERJAYA: Cyberview Sdn Bhd and MRCB Land Sdn Bhd will jointly develop the first phase of Cyberjaya City Centre (CCC) development. 

Sprawled over 21.59 hectares of land, the first phase is estimated to have a gross development value (GDV) of RM5.35bil over seven years. 

The agreement was signed by MRCB group managing director Tan Sri Mohamed Salim Fateh Din and Cyberview managing director Faris Yahaya on Wednesday.

Speaking after the signing ceremony here, Mohamad Salim said the  construction of the first phase was expected to kick start in the first half of next year. 

"The CCC first phase will consist of commercial blocks, an integrated lifestyle and retail arena, serviced residential complexes and a convention cenre," he said.

He said the overall CCC development spanning 53ha of land located between Putrajaya Sentral and Lim Kok Wing University would be developed in two phases, with a total GDV of about RM8bil to RM10bil over 15 years. 

He added the development would also be consolidated into three zones, namely  Vibrant, Tech and Enterprise and Gateway. 

"Each zone will have the right infrastructure and facilities that will cultivate and support the stimulation of new ideas and inspiration, establishments of creative and commercial opportunities as well social networking platform.

"With meticulous planning, it is also meant to integrate with the Mass Rapit Transit Line 2 between Sungai Buloh and Putrajaya, as well as providing seamless pedestrian connectivity with a walkway from Putrajaya Sentral," he said. - Bernama
