Highway concessionaires such as Silk, Litrak, Gamuda, IJM, Ekovest, MTD ACPI will continue to see trading interest after toll rates along several major highways will go up between 10 sen and RM4.70 from Thursday.

Meanwhile, Parkson failed to get shareholders’ nod for its proposed reorganization  exercise while Icon Offshore's subsidiary terminated a shipbuilding contract.

Metrod is buying a five-star hotel in India for RM331mil while Lay Hong scrapped its private placement and it is mulling a fund raising exercise.
