ATLANTA: The 12 Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) countries are within striking distance of an agreement in principle but must first resolve major stalemates over intellectual property rights for biologic drugs and market access issues for dairy, government and industry sources told Bloomberg BNA.
Sources, however, have said the ongoing disputes over these issues could still sink a deal, as negotiators are still scrambling to find common ground on these and a few other issues.
