KUALA LUMPUR: There are already specific guidelines that prohibit regulators from taking board seats in companies that are involved in industries they oversee, according to Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar.
“We do not have that anymore in Telekom Malaysia Bhd
and it should be applied to others (public-listed companies or PLCS) as well,” he said.
