EPF contributors convicted and fined RM10,000 for fraud


KUALA LUMPUR: Seven contributors to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) have been convicted and fined a total of RM10,000 between April and June this year for fraudulent withdrawal related cases.

They were convicted under Section 59 of the EPF Act 1991 and the fines imposed ranged between RM500 and RM3,000.
