KUALA LUMPUR: Trading in the securities of Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd, Malaysia's first listed independent oil and gas exploration and production company, was suspended since 10.42am today, pending an announcement.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Hibiscus Petroleum announced that the company requested for the suspension on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia until 5pm today pending the release of an announcement.
Hibiscus Petroleum shares were up 1.5 sen at 86.5 sen with 983,600 shares transacted before trading was suspended. - Bernama
