PETALING JAYA: The Securities Commission (SC) has brought a former director of Ranhill Power Bhd and another person to court for alleged insider trading.
Amran Awaluddin, 46, who is also former director of Ranhill Bhd, was charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court with acquiring 309,100 Ranhill Power shares between July 27, 2007 and Sept 11, 2007, while in possession of material non-public information.
