KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Equities Research described Tenaga Nasional’s core net profit for the nine months ended May 31, 2015 as above expectations, coming in at 83% of its full-year forecast and 80% of consensus.
It said on Friday the positive earnings surprise was mainly due to the lower-than-expected tax rate and higher-than-expected reinvestment allowance recognised.
