TNB to buy more of 1MDB's power assets in M'sia and abroad


PETALING JAYA: Fresh from its purchase of Project 3B, Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has now submitted a proposal to buy 1Malaysia Development Bhd’s (1MDB) power assets both locally and abroad.

The utility giant told the stock exchange yesterday that it had submitted an indicative non-binding proposal to acquire the five domestic and eight international power assets held through 1MDB’s power unit, Edra Global Energy Bhd.
