Gamuda shares up on water deal optimism


Deal within reach: Negotiations on valuations between Gamuda, the Selangor government and TSWA are expected to resume once Puncak Niaga’s sales and purchase agreement is signed.

PETALING JAYA: Gamuda Bhd leads gains among construction stocks, adding 8 sen to RM4.84 on optimism a deal between the Selangor Government and Syarikat Pengeluar Air Sungai Selangor Holding Bhd (Splash) could be closer than initially anticipated.

Splash, a 40%-owned associate of Gamuda, could benefit should the Selangor government decide to revise the offer price to acquire the company.
