KUALA LUMPUR: The highly-anticipated annual general meeting at Lysaght Galvanized Steel Bhd turned out to be a muted affair as its managing director Liew Hoi Foo was re-elected, dousing any suggestions of a family feud within the company.
It had been speculated that the controlling shareholder which holds 55% in Lysaght and led by the late founder’s daughter Annie Chew Meu Jong, would vote to oust Liew following disagreements on how the company should be run.
