KUALA LUMPUR: Construction works for the US$16bil (RM60.3bil) Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development (Rapid) project, part of the US$27bil (RM101.7bil) Pengerang Integrated Complex in Johor, have been flagged off.
Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) said in a statement that the steel cutting for Rapid’s steam cracker complex (SCC) on June 15 marked the start of construction works for the Rapid project.
