Not much impact on insurance sector from GST, says Allianz

LANGKAWI:  The implementation of the goods and services tax (GST) since April this year has not much impact on the general insurance business as far as Allianz General Insurance Co (M) Bhd is concerned.

"For us, with regards to business, it (the GST implementation) doesn't really makes any difference," he told reporters after officiating the opening of the company's branch office here on Tuesday.
