TdC gets share price boost from strong Q1

Afzal:

SHARES in TIME Dotcom Bhd (TdC) has rallied to their best level in 12 years. The stock has surged about 29% year-to-date to RM6.59, its highest since mid-2002. However, analysts say there are no significant developments in the telecommunications service provider that could have spurred such a strong rally apart from its strong first quarter financial results.

The increasing demand for data in the telecommunications industry is the harbinger of things to come and that is probably the only bit of excitement as the company continues to expand domestically and regionally, analysts say.
