Blue chips eke out small gains in cautious trade, K-1 tumbles


KUALA LUMPUR: Blue chips were marginally higher in volatile trade on Thursday as the FBM KLCI swung into the positive and negative zones during the first hour as investors stayed cautious after the three straight days of losses.

At 10am, the KLCI was marginally higher by 0.78 of a point. Turnover was 421.88 million shares valued at RM222.82mil.  Losers led gainers 224 to 209 while 217 counters were unchanged.
