KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit continued to contract against the US dollar in line with most emerging Asian currencies on Wednesday.
A dealer attributed the weaker Asian currencies, including the ringgit, to solid US economic data which may prompt the US Federal Reserve to raise interest rates this year.
