Axiata sees better earnings in second half

PETALING JAYA: Axiata Group Bhd expects to see better earnings in the second half of its financial year ending Dec 31, 2015, bolstered by its Malaysian and Indonesian operations, says the regional telecom service provider’s president and group CEO Datuk Seri Jamaludin Ibrahim.

“We are confident that the second half will be better than the first half because Axiata has put in place various initiatives to address our issues,” Jamaludin said at a press conference after Axiata’s annual general meeting yesterday.
